Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator (Mazak – Day and Night Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40–50 per week
Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator with experience running large CNC lathes, preferably Mazak machines using Mazatrol controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setup, operation, and quality control of precision-machined parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate large CNC lathes, with a preference for Mazak machines using Mazatrol controls
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machining specifications
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part accuracy
• Perform basic math calculations to verify tolerances and dimensions
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy, defects, and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machines, including CNC lathes
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Mazak CNC machines using Mazatrol controls (preferred)
• 4 years of experience in CNC programming and machine setup (required)
• Proficient in using measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be available for night shift work
