Compensation

• Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on experience)
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus
• 15% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift
• Weekly Pay

Position Overview

Mecca Talent is seeking experienced CNC and Manual Machinists for a leading manufacturing facility in Mount Joy, PA.

This position is responsible for producing, repairing, and modifying precision-machined components using both manual and CNC machine tools. The ideal candidate will have strong machining experience, be able to interpret engineering drawings, perform machine setups, inspect finished parts, and work independently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Operate manual equipment including Bridgeport mills, engine lathes, band saws, drill presses, and other shop machinery.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
• Document inspections, measurements, and any dimensional deviations.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in safe operating condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating both manual and CNC machine tools.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience performing machine setups and making tooling adjustments.
• Proficient with precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, precision-machined components.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education is a plus.
