About d’Marie Inc.
d’Marie is a dynamic and rapidly growing brand that blends quality, creativity and lifestyle appeal. As “The Original Slush Pouches since 2006,” they deliver ready-to-freeze cocktail and wine slush mixes focused on convenience, natural ingredients, and fun social occasions.
As our Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of the brand — from packaging and digital campaigns to in-store displays, social media and event materials. You’ll support making cocktail moments memorable, polished and shareable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver creative visual assets across a wide spectrum: packaging (pouches, labels, boxes), point-of-sale displays, trade show materials, digital/ad banners, email marketing, social media graphics, website imagery, and branded merchandise.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development and sales teams to translate brand strategy and product launches into compelling visuals.
- Ensure consistent brand identity: maintaining color palettes, typography, imagery style, graphic standards and overall aesthetic coherence across all consumer touchpoints.
- Work from concept through execution: ideation, mock-ups, revisions, final artwork creation (print-ready files, digital standards, asset management).
- Optimize assets for different channels/sizes: social feed, stories, email headers, ecommerce website, retail shelf, large format print.
- Liaise with external vendors/printers to ensure production quality, color accuracy, and adherence to timelines.
- Maintain an up-to-date graphic asset library and version control, manage files and ensure easy retrieval for the team.
- Stay current on design trends, packaging innovations, consumer lifestyle visuals in the food/ beverage space, and bring ideas for enhancing brand visuals.
- Occasionally assist with photography direction, retouching of product lifestyle shots, and sourcing creative imagery or icons consistent with brand tone.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications or similar — or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with packaging/consumer-goods/lifestyle brands.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity with print production workflows and specs.
- Experience designing for packaging (flexible pouch, box), tradeshow/display, and digital marketing.
- Excellent visual sense, with strong typography, layout and color-theory skills.
- Ability to pivot between high-level creative thinking and detailed execution, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with brand-driven design: knowing how to apply a visual identity across diverse formats while preserving consistency.
- Good communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and to present/justify design choices.
- Portfolio that demonstrates packaging or consumer-brand work, digital assets and strong visual storytelling.
- Bonus: Experience in food & beverage category, knowledge of social media asset formats, motion graphics skills (After Effects) or photography retouching.
