Job Title: Paint Line Utility Worker -

Reports To: Paint Line Lead / Production Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a Paint Line Utility Worker to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining the paint line, handling metal finishing, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment, be proficient in reading technical drawings, and be capable of operating essential equipment such as tow motors and overhead cranes.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex prints and setup sheets, and program parts/machines accordingly.
- Operate and maintain paint line equipment while following all safety procedures.
- Perform metal finishing and ensure proper paint millage for each product.
- Assist with scheduled tank dumps and routine maintenance.
- Load and unload materials onto the paint line.
- Operate a tow motor and overhead crane as needed.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, assembly prints, packing lists, and shop orders.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years of experience in a production environment.
- Training and certification in the following (onsite training available if needed):
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Global Harmonization System (GHS)
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Tow Motor & Overhead Crane Certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, grasping, and overhead reaching.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
