• Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

Position Overview

Mecca Talent is seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright with strong TIG welding skills to support industrial customers throughout the Mount Joy, PA area. This position primarily services food-grade manufacturing facilities, making high-quality TIG welding experience essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery while providing exceptional customer service at client locations. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, solve mechanical problems efficiently, and safely perform field service work in a variety of industrial environments.

Essential ResponsibilitiesEquipment Installation, Maintenance & Repair

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Install and align new equipment according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain conveyors, processing equipment, and other industrial production machinery.

Welding & Fabrication

• Perform high-quality TIG welding for food-grade applications.
• Complete Stick (SMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding as required.
• Fabricate and modify equipment components to support repairs and installations.
• Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose mechanical and equipment failures using sound troubleshooting techniques.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, and process improvements to customers.

Customer Service

• Serve as the primary on-site representative during service calls.
• Communicate repair plans, equipment issues, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing responsive, high-quality service.
• Complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Safety & Documentation

• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
• Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and proper PPE requirements.
• Complete service reports, time records, travel documentation, and maintenance records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Millwright experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong TIG welding experience required; food-grade welding experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Stick (SMAW) and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and conveyors.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel locally to customer sites on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support customer schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in industrial environments.
