Duties

• Load and unload raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment
• Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements within the warehouse management system
• Pick orders with precision using <PERSON> pickers and ensure timely shipping & receiving processes
• Safely load materials onto trucks for delivery or storage, adhering to OSHA safety standards and heavy lifting protocols
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
• Assist with construction-related tasks involving heavy equipment operation when needed
• Support warehouse supervisors by organizing materials and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and order picking
• Skilled in operating forklifts, crane systems, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining proper safety techniques
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership potential
• Construction or industrial background enhances understanding of fabrication environments
